Understanding Your Unique Subscriber Benefits

Rapid Insights

SOLUTION FINDING SESSIONS

PRAXIS Australia is excited to announce our new, and unique online discussion format, which will provide an opportunity for interested individuals to come together to share ideas, solve problems, and make comments on issues that matter for the research, research ethics and clinical trials sectors in Australia and other regions.

The Rapid Insights Solution Finding program is a unique series of 45 minute, facilitated Q & A   sessions that offers PRAXIS Plus+ Tier 1 and Tier 3 subscribers’ access to industry experts to address common challenges, in an attempt to find shared, pragmatic solutions and new ways of thinking, taking full advantage of the tools and knowledge the subject matter experts provide in these guided question and answer sessions. Discussion will be open mic so everyone will get a chance to have their voice heard.

These rapid, interactive, webinar based, discussions will be facilitated by one or more subject matter experts and will provide an opportunity for open and frank dialogue across selected topic areas, and also offer an important sector wide networking opportunity. Come prepared with your questions, or simply join in to listen and learn from your peers. This is also a great networking opportunity.

Recordings will be made available to those who cannot attend the sessions in person and those who wish to watch again at a later time. Below are the example topics areas, though these are subject to change and may be adapted to reflect any shifts in the operating environments that impact research, research ethics or clinical trials.

Research Ethics in Practice

WEBINAR SERIES

The Research Ethics in Practice Series is a 2-hour webinar-based format that will include presentations and facilitated discussions, hosted by leaders in Research and Research Ethics in Australia and internationally. These are only available to Tier 2 and Tier 3 PRAXIS Plus+ subscribers.  This series is designed to provide all those with an interest in research ethics and clinical trials an opportunity to become more involved in discussion of issues that matter.

Subscribers to Tiers 2 and 3 will receive free and exclusive access to the Research Ethics in Practice series.  The broader aim of these sessions is to support high quality, efficient, safe and ethically robust research and research ethics practices.

Recordings will be made available to those who cannot attend the sessions in person and those who wish to watch again at a later time. Below are the example topics areas, though these are subject to change and may be adapted to reflect any recent shifts in the operating environments.

Round Table

DISCUSSION FORUM

The Round Table Discussion Forum is a Tier 3 PRAXIS Plus+ benefit that is designed to provide an open forum for exploring new ways of thinking in research, research ethics and clinical trials practice. Topics in these forums will be led by our subscribers and the sessions facilitated by PRAXIS Australia Directors.  Subscribers with big or small ideas will be welcomed to the podium to present and defend their ideas for open discussion. We want to encourage disruptive thinking. We will address a number of ideas for discussion at each session.

Our aim is that these forums will build opportunities for broader collaborations among subscribers and will provide an important cross sector networking opportunity. Perhaps even generating new research opportunities between members of the forum.

Editing Your Subscription, Billing and Account Renewal

PRAXIS Plus+ subscriptions are auto-renewed 1 calendar year (365 days) from their original date of activation. By purchasing a PRAXIS Plus+ subscription (at any level – Tier 1, 2 or 3) you agree to an initial and recurring annual subscription fee at the then-current annual subscription rate, and you accept responsibility for these charges until you successfully cancel your subscription.

For example, if an account was activated on the 3rd March 2021, the account owner would be automatically billed on the 3rd March 2022 for the next year’s services at the then-current subscription rate unless they cancelled their subscription before the auto-renewal date (in this case the 3rd March 2022).

Subscriptions can be cancelled from within the ‘Manage My Account’ section of the PRAXIS Plus+ subscriber environment. Manage My Account is accessed via the PRAXIS Plus+ drop-down menu located on the main navigation bar of the PRAXIS website.

Within Manage My Account, navigate to the ‘Subscriptions’ tab. The far-right column of this tab contains the buttons ‘Update’, ‘Change Plan’ and ‘Cancel’. Click on the Cancel button and follow the on-screen prompts to finalise the cancellation of your account.

You should receive an email (sent to the account sign-up address) confirming the cessation of automatic payments soon after completing the cancellation process. You will still have access to all of the benefits for the remainder of your initial subscription period. Cancelling your subscription simply means that you will not be billed for the following annual cycle.

As with cancelling an account, changes to an existing account can be made within the ‘Manage My Account’ section of the PRAXIS Plus+ subscriber environment.

Click on the Change Plan button and follow the on-screen prompts to finalise your request.

Joining this community will allow you to create new professional connections and networking opportunities and gives you exclusive access to some of Australia’s’ leading experts in research, research ethics and clinical trials.

The Rapid Insights problem solving program offers all subscribers at all levels access to industry experts to address common challenges, in an attempt to find shared, pragmatic solutions and new ways of thinking, taking full advantage of the tools and knowledge the subject matter experts provide in these guided question and answer sessions.

Subscribers to Tiers 2 and 3 will receive free and exclusive access to the Research Ethics in Practice series and Round Table discussions, designed to provide all those with an interest in research ethics and clinical trials an opportunity to become more involved in discussion of issues that matter. Our vision is that these groups will act as a forum for addressing the most pressing problems we face as a sector and may provide a voice to decision makers in order to more closely reflect the coal face challenges faced by the workforce – issues that aren’t historically well articulated to those responsible for creating policy and making funding decisions. The broader aim is to support high quality, efficient, safe and ethically robust research practices.
