The PROgress Foundation Program: for Individuals (New Zealand) is a three-month, immersive online learning experience designed to equip individuals with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to begin, or transition into, a career in clinical trials and research.
This foundational program has been specifically adapted and updated to suit the needs of the New Zealand sector.
Program Overview
The PROgress Foundation Program combines self-paced online modules, interactive live workshops, and access to the Community of PRAXIS (CoP) online forum. You’ll build essential competencies recognised nationally and internationally, with a clear focus on preparing you for real-world clinical trial environments.

The program includes:
Two Live Interactive Workshops:
- Clinical Trials 101 – Part 1 and Clinical Trials 101 – Part 2 covering trial types, ethics, budgeting, compliance, recruitment, and GCP principles.
Five Online Self-Paced Courses:
- Principles of GCP
- Consent to Research
- Essential Documentation in Clinical Trials
- Principles of Research Governance
- Research Integrity and Research Misconduct
