Workshop Overview
Clinical research offers diverse and rewarding career opportunities across clinical trial sites, hospitals, universities, sponsors and Contract Research Organisations (CROs).
CRA Accelerate provides a practical introduction to how clinical trials are conducted, monitored and overseen. While the workshop explores the responsibilities and day-to-day work of a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), the knowledge and skills covered are relevant across many clinical research roles.
Through real-world examples and interactive activities, you will explore Good Clinical Practice, research ethics, informed consent, safety reporting, essential documents, monitoring principles and data integrity. You will also gain a clearer understanding of how sites, sponsors and CROs work together to deliver safe, ethical and high-quality clinical trials.
Whether you are entering clinical research, preparing to move into a CRA position or looking to strengthen your understanding of trial oversight, this workshop will help you take your next career step with confidence.
