Clinical trials that fail to achieve their goals are often the result of the budget planning and financial decisions. A budget that is properly planned and implemented from the beginning of your clinical trial will save time, cost and effort in the later phases.

If you manage budgets and finances in a clinical research environment, this workshop is for you.

In this workshop, you will learn how to evaluate your financial situation effectively, identify hidden costs in your research, understand the various cost categories, optimise your contracts, and more. You will also learn about contract negotiations and managing FTE. This is an invaluable opportunity to make sure you’re doing everything possible to ensure that your unit’s financials are in order.

Learning objectives for each lesson are accomplished through a combination of theory and conceptual application within exercises. You will be given opportunities to practice, apply, and develop your finance knowledge and skills through review questions and practical exercises.

What will you learn?
