THS I PRAXIS - research and clinical trials training
Tasmanian Health Service (THS), Whole of State Strategic Education and Training Solution
PRAXIS Australia is delighted to partner with THS to provide this tailored suite of research training modules and workshops to support THS staff at all stages of their research careers. The program consists of a 9-module course, complemented by a range of workshops to choose from.
The program is designed to build capability in conducting high-quality, compliant research.
Enrolment Instructions:
- In the enrolment form below, select the “Course 1: Research Induction” from the ‘Course Type’ drop down menu (see course information in the brochure).
- Please then choose one workshop from the workshop drop down menu.
- Please then enter your personal details and click “submit”, you will then receive an enrolment confirmation email from PRAXIS.
The Research Induction Course consists of the following modules:
- EC.04 Principles of Research Governance
- C5.01 GCP
- C1.04 Differentiating Research, Innovation, Clinical Care, Audit and QA
- C5.07 Research Integrity and Research Misconduct
- C4.04 Data Management: Privacy, Security Governance Across the Lifecycle
- C6.06 Skills for ‘Getting Published’
- C1.05 Research Design and Methods
- C1.06 Designing a Research Proposal
- C2.10 Consent to Research
Note: each module takes 3-4 hours to complete and provides you with 4 CPD points per module, and 6 CPD points per elective.
The course includes enrolment into one workshop chosen from the list below:

Send your completed module and workshop certificates to jodie@praxisaustralia.com.au
You will receive a feedback survey via email — please complete it.
Once your survey is submitted, your Research Induction Completion Certificate will be issued to you.
