Terry is Managing Director of McGuirk Management Consultants (MMC), a national consultancy specialising in Board and Executive governance, remuneration and performance for the ‘profit to member’ and Not for Profit sectors.
MMC also publish annual national remuneration surveys, the most comprehensive of which is the Australian Board Remuneration Survey, covering ASX Listed, Unlisted Public, Private , NFP, Government and Super Fund Boards.
As an Organisational Psychologist/Management Consultant for 3 decades Terry has worked for clients in recruitment, leadership and team training, cultural and psychometric assessment, Board and management remuneration benchmarking and Board performance assessment. Clients span across aged care, charities, defence, energy, finance, government, insurance, manufacturing, mining, sport and superannuation.
Terry has over 30 years’ experience as either a Chair or Director on Boards across financial services, disability, community housing, youth at risk, aged care, group purchasing and national advocacy.
He is also a Director of Minda Housing , a Tier 2 Community Housing provider for people with a disability and Operation Flinders Foundation , who transform young peoples lives through world leading , evidence based remote, outback intervention programs. Terry is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australasian Mutuals Institute.
