Ian Kerridge

Ian Kerridge is Professor of Bioethics and Medicine at the University of Sydney, Haematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant physician at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and a Founding Director of PRAXIS Australia.

Ian is currently Chair of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Ethics Committee and Vice-President of the Bone Marrow Transplant Society of Australia and New Zealand (BMTSANZ) and was previously Chair of the Australasian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR) Ethics Committee and a member of the Australian Health Ethics Committee (AHEC).

Ian trained in medicine at the University of Newcastle, philosophy at the universities of Sydney, Newcastle and Cambridge and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Royal Free and University College Hospital in London. In 2015 he was recognised by the NHMRC for his services to Research Ethics in Australia.
