HREC for Busy People

Upskill or refresh in a day

As a HREC member, it can be hard to upskill whilst meeting everyday work demands. For those new to HRECs, finding time to learn about this unique area of research is difficult and at times, overwhelming.

That’s why we developed HREC for Busy People: the training solutions for those who need to upskill but don’t have time to do so.

There are key aspects of ethics and governance you must understand to work in this area of research. These courses will provide you with the fundamental knowledge needed for your role.

These courses will equip you with knowledge of HREC committee structure, review processes, roles and responsibilities, and outline important considerations in the ethics review of clinical trials.

On completion, you will have a fundamental understanding of research ethics and governance, leaving you confident and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for your role.

These courses are designed to provide HRECs with the baseline upskilling they need. However, upgrading to our premium HREC Essentials course will provide you with the comprehensive knowledge you need to succeed in your role.

Updated to the revised National Statement, PRAXIS HREC offers are the preferred training solutions of HRECs across Australia to prepare for and comply with the new requirements. These expert solutions will provide you with the knowledge you need of the major changes to chapter 2.1 and section 5 of the National Statement.
